    Not an improvement.  Had high hopes for this place as we had taken out ribs from them years ago under different management and they were AWESOME.

    Friendly, but slow service.  One of my friends had an issue where they ran out of food just 3 hours after opening!!  They turned off their phones but at least they left the message so people wouldn't drive over there hoping to take out.  We did take-out and even though we called ahead, we waited for it for another 15 minutes.  They were busy, OK.  We thought they would be yummy in high demand.  They weren't bad, but it wasn't "slow-smoked" as described.  More like pressure-cooked and then lightly sauced under a little more heat.  Mushy.  Not very good value, either.  Very spendy.  We got the dinner for 4 and it barely fed two average adults that were not particularly hungry.  Sides were all mediocre at best.  Packaging wasn't particularly appealing either, made in advance and wrapped in cellophane and then put in a styrofoam box.  Even the potato salad was boring.  And please, restaurants, stop calling things "homemade".  They are made in your kitchen, that is not your home, even if you live upstairs (and no one lives here).  If you want to say, made from scratch or made in house, great, but not homemade.
